Textile Brooch 2

A pretty vintage style brooch that has the appearance of being loved and treasured for many years.

It is made from vintage french linen, fragments of recycled sari silk, vintage and antique lace and has small embroidered starfish together with a small vintage mother of pearl button, a scattering of tiny glass seed beads and fragments of real cornish seashells. 

As expected with old and possibly fragile textiles it is not meant for hard wear and tear and better suited for wearing to high tea, a jolly day out or other special occasions.  It is not washable so please remove it from clothing prior to washing, it should not be hand or machine washed.

It is attached to clothing be means of a brooch pin at the top of the brooch and could also be worn as a pendant with the addition of a cord or chain.

It measures approx 6.5cm long by 5.3cm wide, not including safety pin attachement.
