Medium Embellished Toadstool 3

A single medium embellished textile toadstool.

Made using a collaged patchwork of vintage and antique textiles all hand sewn onto it's richly embellished cap. A sari silk rose and bow, lace, embroidered flowers and tiny sparkly beads all sit side by side. The fabrics have been hand and tea dyed to give a further aged appearance and the calico stalk, also tea dyed, is decorated with a silky hand tinted ribbon and a small vintage cabinet key. It features the words 'fairytales and folklore'.

It is approximately 14.5cm tall by 8.5cm across the cap and has a weighted base to help it stand.  Sometimes the base needs a gentle squidge to encourage it to stand properly as they can be a bit tempremental.
