Large Embellished Toadstool 4 **Half price from £47**

A single large embellished textile toadstool.

Made using a collaged patchwork of vintage and antique textiles all hand sewn onto it's richly embellished cap. A sari silk rose, embroidered starfish, flowers and tiny sparkly beads all sit side by side along with fragments of cornish seashells. The fabrics have been hand dyed and tea dyed to give a further aged appearance and the calico stalk, also tea dyed, is decorated with a silky hand tinted ribbon and small vintage cabinet key. It features the word 'fairytales'.

It is approximately 17cm tall by 12cm across the cap and has a weighted base to help it stand.  Sometimes the base needs a gentle squidge to encourage it to stand properly as they can be a bit tempremental.
