Small Embellished Toadstool - Pale Pink/Lilac & Velvet Fly Agaric Brooch

As per correspondence,

1 x single small embellished textile toadstool No3 - pale pink/lilac tones.

Made using a collaged patchwork of vintage and antique textiles all hand sewn onto it's richly embellished cap. A sari silk rose, lace, embroidered flowers and tiny sparkly beads all sit side by side. The fabrics have been hand and tea dyed to give a further aged appearance and the calico stalk, also tea dyed, is decorated with a silky hand tinted ribbon and a small vintage cabinet key. It features the words 'believe in fairytales'.

It is approximately 12cm tall by 8cm across the cap and has a weighted base to help it stand.  Sometimes the base needs a gentle squidge to encourage it to stand properly as they can be a bit tempremental.

A rather cute velvet and calico toadstool brooch in a rich red coloured vintage cotton velvet. Hand sewn and adorned with a sprinkling of tiny white glass seed beads. An enchanted fairy toadstool

A textural and tactile piece ...as though it had just been plucked from the forest floor.

A beautiful and unusual decoration for a coat, dress, cardigan...waistcoat or hat maybe?

It measures approx 8cm in height by 3.5/4cmcm wide.

I adore making these little toadstools and each one is hand cut and made with love, its a one of a kind item...no two are identical.

You will receive one of the toadstools in the photographs above, they are all similar but have very slight variations as all are cut by hand and individually made.
