Embellished Pumpkin No 6

A pretty one of a kind entirely hand sewn pumpkin....or winter squash.

It is made using vintage and antique textiles, lace and recycled sari silk and has a sprinkling of tiny glass seed beads. The textiles have been tea dyed to give it a well loved vintage look....as though it has been treasured and passed down through the years.

Raw and frayed edges on the textiles and naive, visible, stitching is intentional and part of the charm.

It is meant as an ornament...a pretty thing to look at and grace a shelf or dressing table.

A beautiful and unusual self gift or gift for a loved one or friend.

It is approximately 9cm wide by approximately 9cm tall....depending on the curliness of the stalk.
