Textile Needle Book - Ivory Vintage and Ditsy

This sweet little needle book is the perfect place to keep all those sewing needles tidy and easy to find.

The cover of the book is made from part of a vintage French linen sheet (laundered) and is textured and slubby.  The front of the book has been decorated with vintage and ditsy style fabrics appliqued on the the linen base.  There are a few fragments of vintage lace and a vintage mother of pearl button.  Inside the book is a small pocket...to pop a bit of thread or a button or two in and an insert of boiled wool in which to keep your sewing needles and pins secure.  It fastens with a soft sari silk ribbon. (the buttons etc in the pocket on the images and pins and needles are for display only and are not included).

It's the perfect size to keep in your sewing kit or take on your travels and would also make a very pretty gift for a friend or relative.

It is approximately 10cm by 10cm when closed.  Many of the textiles are vintage and may have discolouration or marks as expected for their age, all are clean.
