Hand Dyed Textile Bundle - Lilac and Green

A bundle of hand dyed textiles, this bundle has shades of lilac/lavender and greens.

It contains hand dyed mainly vintage textiles, there a couple of contemporary textiles such as the length of muslin and sari silk.  There is a piece of boiled wool blanket....ideal as a base for artwork, brooches or for needlefelting onto and a piece of vintage quilt.  

The bundle is tied with a length of tea dyed sari silk ribbon and a piece of stamped sari silk ribbon...great for cutting, binding or tearing and including in your work.  The handmade tag can be deconstructed to use in your work.

I have several of these bundles in this batch and your bundle will be selected from the batch and may not be the one featured in the images.  They are all similar and would be great for a piece textile/mixed media artwork or project or a junk journal.  

The edges of the textiles are raw or frayed and the dyes intentionally patchy and uneven as is the nature of this dyeing process.  This adds to the charm and effect and gives a rich selection of colours to use in your work.  These items are old and not neat or pristine, it is the intention for these supplies to look worn....although they are laundered, in places they still have age ralated marks or stains.  I have shown the colours as accurately as possible but they may appear different on different monitors and devices...please understand it is very difficult to capture and relay the colours as they appear in real life.  Please do not buy if you are expecting new, neat textiles.

To give perspective the tag is approx 5.5cm by 11cm, the textile pieces approx 13cm by 13cm....some slightly larger, some smaller.  The lace and trims vary in size.
