A set of three hand dyed chocolate brown velvet toadstools S

A set of three large textile rich chocolate brown toadstools made from hand dyed cotton velvet with calico undersides and calico stalks - lightly tea dyed to give an aged appearance. There are variations and sometimes speckles in the colouring of the velvet as is the nature of the dyeing process, I think it all adds to its individuality and charm.

Hand stitched and finished with a piece of tea dyed silky ribbon and a vintage rusty tin star in a primitive style. The little textile message reads 'fairytales'. 

The toadstools are filled with eco friendly 100% british sheep wool.

An unusual and pretty decoration for a hearth, mantle or curio cabinet.

A lovely one of a kind gift for a toadstool, mushroom and fungi lover...a treat for a mycophile and nature lover.

Hand stitched and very tactile the toadstools have weighted bases so they stand easily and will grace any room at any time of the year.

The tallest toadstool stands approx 13.5cm by 7cm, the middle one 11.5cm by 6cm and the smaller one approx 9.5cm by 5cm.
