I'd rather be beachcombing.

A pretty and unusual piece of textile art inside a vintage teaspoon case.

Made using hand dyed vintage textiles and part of a vintage French sheet and vintage quilt, with fragments of lace and a scattering of sea shells it transports you back to treasured coastal holidays and beachcombing adventures.

A decorative piece made to sit on a shelf, sideboard or in a cabinet.  A perfect gift for a coastal loving friend or loved one.  My mind often wanders whilst doing chores and I often think 'I'd rather be beachcombing'.  The seashells were found on my travels to Devon and Cornwall.

It measures approx 15cm by 20cm closed and 30cm by 20cm fully open.

The case is a vintage item and therefore shows signs of its age and history.  There is a bit of wear and tear here and there, I try to leave things in their found condition as I feel it tells a story about their previous lives and adds to the charm.
