Fly Agaric on Vintage Cotton Spool - M

A curious and enchanting looking hand dyed red cotton velvet Fly Agaric toadstool sat on top of a vintage wooden Dorcas machine embroidery thread spool.  It bulbous cotton stalk and gathered gills are made from vintage cotton, tea dyed to give it an aged appearance.  

A lovely decorative gift for a toadstool/mushroom enthusiast or a lover of everything fairytale and magical.

It measures approx 17.5cm high and the toadstool cap is approx 8cm wide.
