Fly Agaric on Vintage Cotton Spool - C

A curious and enchanting looking hand dyed red cotton velvet Fly Agaric toadstool sat on top of a vintage wooden Sylko machine embroidery thread spool.  It bulbous cotton stalk and gathered gills are made from vintage cotton, tea dyed to give it an aged appearance.  It is sat atop a mossy textile base.

A lovely decorative gift for a toadstool/mushroom enthusiast or a lover of everything fairytale and magical.

It measures approx 16cm high and the toadstool cap is approx 8.5cm wide.
