Velvet toadstool on vintage cotton spool G ****REDUCED****

A curious and enchanting looking hand dyed green cotton velvet toadstool sat on top of a vintage wooden Patons machine embroidery thread spool.  It bulbous cotton stalk and gathered gills are made from vintage cotton, tea dyed to give it an aged appearance.  It is filled with 100% sheeps wool and say atop a mossy textile base.

A lovely decorative gift for a toadstool/mushroom enthusiast or a lover of everything fairytale and magical.

It measures approx 17cm high and the toadstool cap is approx 8cm wide.
