Fly Agaric Fairytale Box 2

A upcycled vintage jewellery box is the perfect home for this little velvet Fly Agaric.  The hand dyed velvet cap is sprinkled with hand sewn tiny white glass seed beads, the stalk is made from tea dyed vintage textile.   

The box is lined with fragments of wording from an antique deed and there's a small piece of mossy textile art.  The box doesn't close fully and is designed to sit open on a shelf or curio cabinet.

It is approximately 9.5cm tall by 8.5cm fully open.

The box is a vintage item and therefore shows signs of its age and history.  There is a bit of wear and tear here and there, I try to leave things in their found condition as I feel it tells a story about their previous lives and adds to the charm.
