Toadstool Textile Needlebook

This sweet little needle book is the perfect place to keep all those sewing needles and pins tidy and easy to find.

The cover of the book is made from part of a vintage French linen sheet (laundered) and is textured and slubby.  The front of the book has been decorated with fragments of vintage textiles and lace, sari silk and hand dyed textiles.  It features a small velvet toadstool.  Inside the book is lined with a thick 100% wool felt and an extra page in which to keep your sewing needles and pins secure.  It fastens with a soft sari silk ribbon.

It's the perfect size to keep in your sewing kit or take on your travels and would also make a very pretty gift for a friend or relative.

It is approximately 11.5cm by 10.5cm when closed.  Many of the textiles are vintage and may have discolouration or marks as expected for their age, all are clean.
